Large Firm Roundtable

The AIA Large Firm Roundtable is an independent entity organized to provide a forum for the discussion of matters of mutual interest to large firms that are engaged in the practice of architecture or architecture and engineering. The mission is to further the special and unique interests, both national and international, of large firms by working with and through the AIA.
Membership is limited to firms engaged in the practice of architecture or architecture and engineering with a minimum of 150 total staff members and a minimum of 50 registered architects who are also members of the AIA.

AIA LFRT Research Grant
Call for proposals by September 15, 2006

The AIA Large Firm Roundtable invites proposals from schools of architecture to study the impact of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on the building design and construction process. The LFRT has combined its resources to provide up to a $25,000. grant for the winning proposal. For submission requirements, read more.

The Case Study in Architecture
Sponsored by the AIA Large Firm Roundtable (LFRT) and the Educator/Practitioner Net (EPN), the AIA Case Studies Initiative was launched in September 2001 to produce an online database of case studies.

Large Firm Roundtable/Deans Forum Report
The purpose of the Large Firm Roundtable/Deans Forum is to facilitate a rich and evolving dialogue between leaders of large architecture firms and deans of leading architecture schools. Reports documenting these important discussions on trends in the profession and in education are available online.
